Connect Anthropic cost reports

Create and connect an Admin API key

1. Sign into the Anthropic Console with organization administrator access. Open Settings → Admin keys and create an Admin API key.
2. Copy the key securely. A regular API key is not an Admin API key and cannot read the organization cost report.
3. In your own Tallypane installation, open Settings → Accounts → Add account → Anthropic. Name the account and paste the Admin key. The app checks cost-report access.
4. Save the account, choose the offered import history and start importing. Never paste credentials into the public sample demo.

Reported costs and access

The connector reads the organization cost report and normalizes reported cents into dollars. Model/category dimensions follow the provider report; not every billing category carries model attribution. Recent costs may be revised.

Tallypane uses the credential for billing reads. Admin API credentials can authorize broader administration. Revoke it through the provider’s Admin keys settings; replace the saved credential in Tallypane during rotation.
