What syncs today, and what’s next
OpenAI and Anthropic sync today. OpenRouter, AWS (Cost Explorer), Google Cloud (BigQuery billing export), GitHub and Vercel connectors are designed and come next.
Tools without a billing API — Meta Muse, Supabase plans, seats and yearly renewals — will come in as manual entries and fixed costs, so the total covers what you actually pay. Those are coming soon too.
Billing keys, stored like secrets
Tallypane only uses keys to read costs. Each one is sealed with AES-256-GCM under a per-organization data key, never sent back to the browser, and kept apart from other organizations by Postgres row-level security.
Where a provider charges for its cost API — AWS Cost Explorer bills $0.01 per request — Tallypane shows the estimated cost of a refresh before it runs.

How are my billing keys stored?
Each key is sealed with AES-256-GCM under a per-organization data key and never sent back to the browser — you only ever see its last four characters. Postgres row-level security keeps each organization’s keys apart.
When does the hosted version open?
We’ll email everyone on the waitlist once — when it opens. That’s the only email you’ll get from the list.
